Actors for Sierra and Kristen
Above photo: Elizabeth Bogner as Kristen. I've chosen her based on height, bone structure, and attitude. I believe she can definitely pull off predatory-older lesbian very well.
Bottom Photo: Seairra Miller as Sierra. I've chosen on based purely on attitude and appearance. She definitely has all the makings to bring this character to life.
Poster Inspiration
I'm really trying to go for a minimalist design for my movie poster. I have no real reason behind this other than it looks cool.
Posters aren't my thing
This is an EXTREMELY ROUGH CONCEPT of the poster for my Film. Also it will be saying "LemonDrop" Not just Lemon.
LEMONDROP TREATMENT
Story by Taylor Kirby
10/17/2013
CONCEPT
A young woman gets too drunk at a bar and ends up “accidentally”
having a one-night stand with another female. She wakes up the next day to find
herself in a hotel room lying next to the female’s dead body.
THEME
It’s about coming to terms with one’s sexuality while also
showcasing that there are other things in life to care/worry about.
CHARACTERS
SIERRA: A young, 23 year old with a sharp mind and clever wit.
She is a Scorpio to a T; mysterious, manipulative, dark, with alluring sex
appeal and a knowledge of how to use it. An adorably trashy girl with pixyish
features, she can be insensitive and thoughtless.
KRISTEN: A 32 year old
lesbian who is often seen outside of work scouting local bars for young girls
to prey on. Her favorite thing to do is confuse straight girls and sleep with
them. She doesn’t consider it a successful night if she hasn’t made more than
three girls question their sexuality.
SIERRA’S MOM: 48 years
old and quite open-minded considering her generation and very caring. She’s
always there for Sierra whenever she needs her. She’s aware her daughter can be
callous and knows how combat it.
RECEPTIONIST: A homely 40
year old woman just trying to keep herself busy while her husband works and her
kids are at school.
GAY COUPLE: Two male partners
that are off on a little weekend getaway.
SYNOPSIS:
Sierra is out having fun at a local bar when she is approached
by Kristen who offers her one too many drinks which ultimately leads to Sierra
waking up in a hotel room the next day lying next to Kristen’s dead body.
Overwhelmed and disturbed by the possibility that she slept with a girl, Sierra
gives herself quite the rough morning. She endures a series of paranoia-filled
situations that seem to add to the mountain she’s made out of a molehill.
Completely ignoring the fact that Kristen is dead, Sierra becomes selfishly
wrapped up in her dilemma inevitably calling her “mommy” for some guidance.

ANOTHER SEPT 24th UPDATE
I have decided to change some parts to my script. Have decided this film isnt coming across as funny. Have decided to alter the ending a bit. Perhaps have the maid come in at the end and instead of panic, she whips out a special cleaning kit as if shes done this before and just says shit and starts picking up the room.
September 24th 2013 Update
I am looking for hotels. So far. They are all too scary.
I have finally printed my script.
I have my actors basically. I have music. I have make up. I need location and wardrobe.

dead boyfriend has two hours until check out to figure out what to do next.
THEME
Dealing with the five stages of grief.
CHARACTERS
RYAN: The dead 28 year old boyfriend. A relapsing heroin addict with an
Aries charm and a loving personality. Quite tall for his build, he resembles a
well-groomed lumberjack with a nice sense of style.
SIERRA: A young, 23 year old with a sharp mind and clever wit. She is a Scorpio
to a T; mysterious, manipulative, dark, with alluring sex appeal and a
knowledge of how to use it. An adorably trashy girl with pixyish features.
Brimming with potential for a great life, she chooses travel over education and
love over money which leads to a cross country trip to be shared with by her
boyfriend.
ALICE THE MAID: A homely 35 year old maid in standard black uniform. Her
shift ends at noon and just wants to go home after cleaning one last room which
happens to be Sierra’s.
SYNOPSIS:
One crisp morning, Sierra awakens in her messy hotel room to find her
boyfriend lying dead next to her in bed. Realizing that she only has until her 11
AM check out time to figure out what to do with the body, the audience watches
as she begins to go through her best attempt at how to deal with the not so
common situation.
Sierra will be going through the basic five stages of human grief in her
own way while also trying to avoid any possible criminal charges. Starting off
calm and composed, through a series of quick scenes and brief flashbacks,
Sierra slowly begins to break under the pressure and the emotional turmoil that
comes with losing a loved one. Through a one-sided dialogue, a slow beginning of
understanding what their relationship was like begins and despite her humor and
attempts at figuring out what to do with the body, she inevitably discovers
that she cannot bear to continue without him.
After this realization, the maid, Alice, begrudgingly making her way
down the hall to Sierra’s room. She pauses and checks her watch, making a
comment about how she only has two more hours left before she gets to go home.
Once she enters the room and sees the two bodies of Ryan and Sierra and what
was once Sierra’s problem is now the maid’s.
